I want more and I want it now! That seems to be society’s never-ending hunger and it is actually based on the emotions of frustration, impatience, and concern over not having enough time. But not enough time for what exactly? Is it more money, more health, getting a promotion, or more time to do what you actually enjoy? We will always crave more things but it’s important to be clear if our desires come from ambition or greed in order to invest our time and resources in a proactive way and prevent feeling guilty once we are older. Ambition is the desire and determination to achieve success and it’s a good quality to have because it’s what has helped us evolve. But if you have a constant feeling that somehow something is not quite “right” in your life, like a void or this inner knowledge that there must be something else out there for you. I can assure you that no matter what you do, how much money you make, or how hard you try that feeling will keep showing up in your life in different ways. So I want to invite you to consider a different perspective based on the latest scientific research. When you align your values with your sense of purpose the easier it will be for you to attain the meaningful and satisfying life that you have been dreaming of without having to compete with others, spend long hours at work, or years paying off debt. You can start by asking yourself basic but important questions like: •How’s my health?
